…Contemporary Jazz with world-ethnic and ambient influences.
About Roberto Badoglio:
After Studying in France with Dominique Di Piazza, he attended the Berklee College of music in Boston. He had the pleasure of playing with many "top world musicians" who inspired him and thought him a lot, such as: Joanne Brackeen, Matthew Garrison, Adama, Marcus Miller, Dominique Di Piazza, Marko Djordjevic, Marlon Browden, Paul Giordimaina, Hal Crook, Steve Hunt, Marty Richards, Louis Cato, Aly Keyta, Kurdish singer Hani, Helmut Engel Musehold, George Zonce and many others. He released his first solo album "Re-Evaluation Time" in january 2010.
Roberto Badoglio is considered one of the more original and jaw dropping voices in the contemporary bass playing by many people around the world as well as many bassist "gurus" like Matthew Garrison(Roberto has been his pupil during his studying at the Berklee) and Dominique Di Piazza.
Thanks to a combination of creative and advanced approach to grooving, striking harmonic sense, phenomenal technique, and a strong melodic attitude he is now making a name for himself in instrumental contemporary music.
